Training, Public Walks and Talks

We classify our training programme between the natural science of trees and the human interventions such as planting, felling and management, although training for one inevitably impacts on the other. We promote the interests of tree and woodland conservation through a series of public talks, either indoors or in the field – ideas for future events are always welcome.

Anyone interested in learning more about the Network, or thinking about becoming a Tree Warden, is very welcome to join us.

Training Days 2021 – we will soon be offering a comprehensive suite of informal training modules devised by the Tree Council for existing and new members. Information will be added here when we have more news, but in the meantime see what we have planned – http://www.perthandkinrosstreewardens.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Tree-Council-Training-News-2020.pdf.  Some of the training will necessarily be online, other sessions we hope will be on site somewhere in the area. Everything you wanted to know about how to be a Tree Warden and more will be revealed!

Events 2021 and 2022 – we will publish a revised Events Programme as soon as we can. Everyone welcome, especially anyone considering joining us as a member.
